Cici Northup brings significant management and analytical experience related to national payments infrastructures to her work with Glenbrook clients.

Cici has over six years of research and consulting experience. Most recently, Cici worked as a Manager for Alvarez & Marsal’s strategy consulting practice, where her major client was the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.  She was a member of the team working on the Foundation’s Financial Services for the Poor program, and in particular the Foundation’s Level One Project, an initiative aimed at building inclusive, low-cost, interoperable digital financial services systems.

Cici also supported the implementation of a cross-border, low-value payments system in the Southern African Development Community, and was an author and contributor to multiple publications sponsored by the International Telecommunications Union Focus Group on Digital Financial Services and Financial Inclusion.

Cici began her career as an analyst at Blue Research, a market research firm, where she led the design phase, analysis, and reporting of qualitative, quantitative, and mixed method research projects.

Cici holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Washington, Foster School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Columbia University. She also holds a Certificate in Market Research from the University of Georgia.
