Yvette Bohanan
As part of Glenbrook’s education team, Yvette draws on her 24 years of payments and risk management experience to help the next generation of payments professionals understand industry fundamentals and best practices. In addition to facilitating Payments Boot Camps™, she is also responsible for developing industry-focused curriculums and new delivery channels.
Prior to Glenbrook, Yvette was the Chief Risk Officer for eBay, and a Finance leader at Google supporting global payment operations and vendor strategy for Google. Prior to Google, she was Chief Operations Officer for YapStone.
Yvette led Payments Strategy as a Director for Bank of America Merrill Lynch and as SVP, eCommerce Channel Executive for the Consumer Bank. Her workshop facilitation in cross-functional strategy resulted in 13 patent filings for Bank of America, and her team supported the product definition and launches of Zelle, mobile transfers, and online and mobile bill payment.
Prior to joining Bank of America, Yvette led Global Payments Core Product Management at Amazon and was responsible for customer experience, vendor relationships and cost of payments aligned to global payments acceptance and seller disbursements. Prior to Amazon, she held various executive positions at Vesta Corporation where she helped build Vesta’s processing business from $50 million to $1 billion.
Earlier in her career, Yvette was a founder and the Chief Technology Officer of PaylinX Corporation, which pioneered payment and fraud solutions for online merchants. After CyberSource acquired PaylinX, she became VP, Engineering and led development of CyberSource’s payments, risk management and tax offerings.
Yvette was a “40 under 40” Portland Business Journal award recipient, Bank of America Inventor of the Year nominee, and recipient of the Mike Duffy Payments Leadership Award. She has been an advisor to CapitalG and mentor for 500 Startups.
