Bethany joined Glenbrook with experience in economic and policy research, consulting, financial services and international development.

Prior to joining Glenbrook, Bethany worked at Funding Societies, Southeast Asia’s largest SME digital financing platform, which is backed by Sequoia and Softbank with lending operations in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand. While there, she led a project to study the economic impact of lending to the economies of Southeast Asia through digital financial services. Through her work, Bethany developed a strong awareness of the Asian digital economy and gained a deep appreciation for the financial challenges faced by SMEs and the barriers to inclusion in the financial system.

Bethany received a Double Masters Degree in Business and Public Policy (MBA-MPP) from the National University of Singapore. With her focus on both business and public issues, Bethany is deeply interested in the future of finance and the evolution of digital finance for an inclusive financial system and economic growth.

Bethany holds a Bachelors in Finance from the University of Akron and started her career at a broker-dealer in Ohio. She has passed the Series 7 and 24 and CFA Level 1 exams.
