The SF Chronicle interviews Wells Fargo CEO John Stumpf in today's paper.

The Wells Fargo – Wachovia merger blog inspired rave reviews and sets the bar high for other financial institutions considering blogging

  • The Finanser (Chris Skinner) – "Therefore, this could prove interesting in creating a corporate case study in how to manage a merger …  or how not to.  I doubt it's the latter though as, with over 100 mergers successfully completed under Mr. Stumpf's belt, this one should work."
  • Web Strategy (Jeremiah Owyang) – "it’s refreshing to see a new type of blog appear to meet the needs of transparency, non-pitching, and openness with the community –yet meet the business needs of the corporations"
  • Social Media Today (David Armano) – "Right off the bat, I noticed three things: 1. There are real people here 2. They want to talk to me 3. They are making it very easy to talk to them"
