"CommBank is reducing its Merchant Service Fee0 from 1.1% to 0.99% per transaction for in-store payments for customers on simple flat-rate pricing from 1 October 2026, making it one of the lowest rates in market.  The reduction is designed to help businesses keep the cost of accepting card payments low, supporting them as they manage day-to-day operating costs.   The change coincides with the removal of card surcharging from 1 October, providing additional support for the small number of businesses impacted by this change."
