Our First eB2B Payments at the Tipping Point Workshop

March 6, 2008

Glenbrook, in cooperation with Forte Financial just finished our first Payments Workshop on B2B payments, called “eB2B Payments at the Tipping Point“.

Attendees from American Express, MasterCard, Visa, JPMorgan Chase, Wells Fargo, Intuit and PayPal, among others, steeped themselves in the arcane world of corporate Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable systems and discussed the myriad array of new options available for streamlining the handling of B2B payments. The consensus of the group?

  1. We’re not quite at the tipping point yet – but we will continue to see strong and steady progress.
  2. Increased focus on the time value of money is fueling new interest in purchasing cards for A/P, supply chain finance and dynamic discounting and changing the nature of the discussion about B2B payments.
  3. Unlocking the logjam on small business B2B payments may be the answer to accelerating adoption of electronic payments.

More information on the workshop is available at Glenbrook’s Payments Education web site or contact Glenbrook partner Carol Coye Benson to arrange a private workshop on B2B payments for your organization.
