Emily Simone joins Glenbrook as an associate, with six years of experience in project and program management, research, and strategy development.

Emily comes from the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation, where she managed a global portfolio of strategic and technical projects for DTCC Deriv/SERV, the largest post-trade service provider for OTC derivatives. At Deriv/SERV, she engaged with executive and Board leadership as well as an industry steering committee comprised of the largest global banks and buy-side firms, to refine strategic objectives and identify tactical imperatives for DTCC’s swaps business. She also worked in DTCC’s internal management consulting practice, where she drove strategic business transformation and introduced identified operational inefficiencies across DTCC and its subsidiaries.

Emily is a former fellow of the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey and Village Capital’s impact investing fellowship program, and maintains an interest in integrating social impact with business objectives.

Emily graduated from Barnard College at Columbia University with her bachelor’s degree in Environmental Policy, and completed her thesis on the business case for excellence in environmental, social, and corporate governance, for publicly-traded companies. This work led to Emily’s analyst role at a boutique consulting firm specializing in corporate sustainability strategy and reporting, at Framework LLC. At Glenbrook, Emily has enjoyed working on financial inclusion and payment strategy projects.
