Neel joined Glenbrook with 3 years of experience in global banking. He worked in operations that utilized data science for one of the largest custodial banks. He brings knowledge in evaluating how emerging technology affects operations within the financial sector.
Prior to joining Glenbrook, he worked in Asset Servicing for Northern Trust. He developed strategy in information delivery for clients and fostered cross-functional collaboration for team development. He is deeply interested in the intersection of payments and emerging technology. He also has a keen interest in the global regulatory landscape of emerging markets and the impact it can have on domestic payments.
Neel holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. At UIUC he became involved in the blockchain space and its potential. He decided to learn the fundamentals of the technology and became certified in IBM’s Hyperledger Fabric in 2018. He continues to investigate the flywheel effect blockchain has in traditional payments.
