Dr. Taher Elgamal Joins Glenbrook As Special Advisor

Dr. Taher Elgamal has joined Glenbrook as a Special Advisor in the areas of computer, network and information security.

Over the years, Taher has made many contributions to the field of IT security including being the "inventor of SSL", the secure sockets layer protocol that is the foundation for secure banking and ecommerce transactions over open networks. In April, Taher was awarded the RSA Conference Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions to the field of IT security and, in particular, for his work on SSL.
